Naturium Retinaldehyde Cream Serum 0.05% 4.9 star rating

There are two main products that help to keep our skin younger and one of them is Retinal. You might be thinking, don't I mean Retinol? No, I mean Retinal. To put it simply, it is a powerful form of vitamin A which belongs to the retinoid family. A next-generation retinol that directly converts to retinoic acid and I have been using Naturium’s 0.05% version and here are my thoughts.

How to use

Price and verdict

This gem retails for £32/$29 for 50ml which for a formula with great efficacy, it’s quite affordable for a retinal. Retinaldehyde is proven to be less sensitizing than retinol, which makes it great for anyone’s skincare routine. However, always patch test before using.

The % is milder but it’s great for anyone just starting out with retinal, I personally didn’t get any irritation. I had a spot on my back which ended up leaving a mark, this serum has and continues to fade it. Yes it has taken weeks to months as expected but the results so far are great.

Naturium Retinaldehyde Cream Serum 0.05% conclusion

As it goes for anti-aging products, retinal is the queen and as for Narurium’s version, well truth be told, it’s a straight up great retinoid that does the job. Would I repurchase? Absolutely and I may step it up a notch and get the next strength up!
