Not only do I truly believe that wearing SPF every single day of the year is the most important step of your skincare routine, I also believe it’s what contributes (in a huge way) to keeping your skin youthful. If you are new here - hi!

Welcome to my SPF gang and for those of you who have read my blogs and are back for more - welcome back! This is your reminder that just because we are heading into Autumn and Winter soon that doesn’t mean your SPF takes a backseat!

SPF is my BFF

Oh how I love the sun, probably a lot of people do right? My mood feels better when the weather is warm and sunny, my sunnies make an appearance, I’ve got my oat iced latte in my hand (yes I’m a basic oat iced latte girl - with caramel syrup too) - everything just feels great when the sun is shining.

What I haven’t told you so far is that I am also a little fearful of the sun, she’s pretty and all but she can be dangerous - she doesn’t mess about.

As I have mentioned in a previous blog that there is no safe way to tan and to protect our skin at all times and I do that by using my favorite SPF for my face and neck, Ultra Violette Supreme Screen Hydrating Facial Skinscreen SPF 50+.

Here’s a home truth for you guys, UV rays are the single biggest cause of premature ageing - that’s right gang, do you see why it’s so important to wear SPF everyday? As the founders Ava Matthews and Bec Jefferd say:

It’s about future-proofing your face from the daily toll of UV rays

Ultra Violette was founded in Australia in 2019, that’s literally yesterday. But seriously it’s not been around for too long and yet the brand has made huge waves with their SPF range and so many people like me love their products.

For me the gold medal goes to their Supreme Screen Hydrating Facial Skinscreen SPF 50+ and here is why:

Ultra Violette Supreme Screen SPF 50+ review conclusion

As a huge advocate for SPF in general, I have tried a fair few different face sunscreens and I’m so happy I landed on this absolute gem. I had seen it around and then it kept popping up on my social feeds so I took the leap, bought it and I haven’t looked back.

I know it is expensive at $30.40/£34 and I do wish that for the price it perhaps could be 100ml instead of 50ml. It does go on offer sometimes on some websites and I bulk buy when this happens because if we can save a few £/$ we will right?!

However, for me personally there is no compromise on protecting my skin so I will pay the price. Especially when it doesn’t pill, it doesn’t leave my skin greasy or give me those little white spots and no white cast! You can even use it as a primer and a moisturizer, as well as an SPF- who doesn’t love a product that has multiple uses!

Overall I highly recommend this SPF, I love it and as a brand I am a huge fan and have already started trying some of their other products - thank you U.V.!
