You guys know Tatcha is one of my favorite brands and one day I will own their entire collection but for now I will settle trying a few at a time. So of course, when I heard they were releasing a new cleanser, I had to try it!
The word on the street is that this new cleanser is replacing The Deep Cleanse, I don’t know how true this is but it’s no longer on sale on SpaceNK or Tatcha’s website; with that being said, Matcha Cleanse has caught my attention so let’s dig in!
Pros

A tad on the expensive side
Foams a lot

Price and verdict
£42/$40 for 150ml sounds a bit steep doesn’t it? Hear me out. Of course you can find a cheaper cleanser, I own some! But sometimes they aren’t all made the same are they?
With Tatcha, you are always going to get super nice packaging and very high quality ingredients (that work!).
It’s nice to have a rotation of products, if you can, and this would be a splurge cleanser - it is for me! It takes off my make-up really well and leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated.
It is foamy, which I didn’t expect but I’m not mad at it. I’m usually not a huge fan of foamy products, however, I don’t mind it in this cleanser because the benefits and results are fantastic.
Tatcha The Matcha Cleanse conclusion
Do I prefer it to The Deep Cleanse? I like them both!
I love how exfoliating Deep Cleanse is, feeling the particles is nice. Matcha has BHA alternatives that decongests the pores and balances oil without stripping my skin. I love it when a cleanser doesn’t strip the skin.
All skin types can use it but it’s ideal for oily and combination - great for my combination skin.
Would I repurchase? When I see a discount day, it’s going straight in my basket again.
