Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA +BHA Pore-Tight Toner 4.8 star rating

Many moons ago, I didn’t really use a toner and I think that’s because I used to feel that there weren't that many good ones on the market. It’s 2024 and there are SO many fantastic toners, each doing their own thang. One that I am using at the moment is this pink babe from Glow Recipe and here are my thoughts.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA +BHA Pore-Tight Toner

Price and verdict

This toner retails for £31/$35 for 150ml which isn’t super expensive but it also isn’t super cheap. I think I bought it on a Black Friday deal which then didn’t hurt my debit card as much. It does also come in a travel size which not only is cheaper, it’s also lighter - packaging wise!

I adore glass packaging because it’s nicer and better for the environment but it’s too heavy to travel with. Nonetheless the packaging is cute, pink and smells delicious - literally like watermelon. The fragrance doesn’t bother me in this toner, it's a sensorial experience.

The ingredients are great and I have seen a difference in how my pores are looking - they look tighter! A tip - using BHA in your skincare routine can potentially cause skin purging, especially if you are new to introducing this ingredient into your routine. Whilst this is normal, it can last up to 6 weeks.

Although the toner has a gentle blend of BHA and PHA, always do a patch test before using.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Toner conclusion

I thoroughly enjoy using this toner and following up with Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops - the combination is elite and my skin looks so plump and dewy after. Overall, my pores are looking better and so would I repurchase? Yes I would and Black Friday deals are just around the corner!
