Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup - Melting Butter Cleanser review

Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup - Melting Butter Cleanser 4.6 rating

I love a good cleanser, the product that swipes all of the gunk off of your face has got to be good.

As of recent years, double cleansing has made its way into our skincare routines (thank goodness for that) and low and behold, I fell in love with cleansing balms.

Although this product says it's a cleanser, which it is, I refer to it as a cleansing balm because it’s formula is a balm - you get my gist.

    Price and verdict

I remember paying £29/$36 for this cleansing balm once upon a time and it has slowly creeped up to £34/$36, which for a cleansing balm is a little steep.

I do like this cleansing balm and although it does feel a tad greasy on the skin (which goes quite quickly, for me anyway) it takes my makeup off really well and for that, it deserves a little hype.

There is nothing worse than a product not really removing your SPF and makeup well enough.

Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup - Melting Butter Cleanser conclusion

If you like the sound of this cleansing balm but are thinking, yeah she’s right the price is a little steep, you can sometimes get it in gift sets, along with other products so it’s more worthwhile.

It definitely isn’t a cleansing balm I’d regularly buy once it runs out, not because it's not great, because it is, it’s because for a cleansing balm, it’s more of a splurge product for me.

    Who are Drunk Elephant?

I will admit all those years ago in Las Vegas, it was the name of the brand that caught my attention in Sephora, it’s just fun and quirky.

Founded in 2012 by Tiffany Masterson after her very own struggle with skin and it has since become hugely popular.
